The Autism Spectrum Disorder Guideline Newsletter brings together information about the progress being made to improve autism services for people in New Zealand from some of the key groups that have been involved. It focuses on activities that are coordinated nationally.

Altogether Autism
Altogether Autism is an information and advisory service for people with autism spectrum disorder, their families, whānau and the wider New Zealand community.
Autism New Zealand Inc.
Autism New Zealand provides support, training, advocacy, resources and information on autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger syndrome.
IDEA Services
ASD Plus: Education for Families is run by IDEA Services. It provides free education programmes to families in the South Island and Northland who have pre-school children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The education is delivered individually, in groups or by correspondence to suit the needs of the family.

New Zealand Guidelines Group
The New Zealand Guidelines Group (NZGG) is a not-for-profit non-government organisation that focuses on the use of reliable evidence in the New Zealand health and disability sectors. Probably best known for the publication of evidence-based guidelines, NZGG supported the development of the 'New Zealand Autism Spectrum Disorder Guideline'. NZGG’s commitment to the use of reliable evidence extends to the implementation of guideline recommendations. We have supported the implementation of the ASD Guideline since 2007. The Goodfellow Club
The Goodfellow Club is a provider of certified, quality continuing professional education (CPE) for a variety of health professionals. Members can gain CME/CNE credit on ASD through The Goodfellow Club or from this NZ ASD Guideline website.
The Werry Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health
The Werry Centre has been contracted by the Ministry of Health in consultation with the Ministry of Education to develop a training resource for specialists. The training is being specifically designed for paediatricians, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and educational psychologists, and will focus on the assessment, treatment and clinical management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for young people aged between 0 and 19.
